The Sunnmøre Fotballkrets ''(Sunnmøre Football Association)'' is one of the 18 district organisations of the Norwegian Football Federation. It administers lower tier football in the traditional district of Sunnmøre. Background Sunnmøre Fotballkrets is the governing body for football in the traditional district of Sunnmøre, which is a part of Møre og Romsdal county. The Association currently has 66 member clubs. Based in Ålesund, the Association's chairman is Lena Charlotte Pedersen. Ålesund () sometimes spelled Aalesund in English, is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and the centre of the Ålesund Region. The town of Ålesund is the administrative centre of Ålesund Municipality, as well as the principal shipping town of the Sunnmøre district. The town is a sea port and is noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. Although sometimes internationally spelled by its older name ''Aalesund'', this spelling is obsolete in Norwegian. Trøndelag (; sma, Trööndelage) is a county in the central part of Norway. It was created in 1687, then named Trondhjem County ( no, Trondhjems Amt); in 1804 the county was split into Nord-Trøndelag and Sør-Trøndelag by the King of Denmark-Norway, and the counties were reunited in 2018 after a vote of the two counties in 2016. Volda TI (''Volda Turn- og Idrottslag'') is a sports club in Volda, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. It currently has sections for association football and "general sports". The club was founded as ''Voldens TF'' in 1899 as a gymnastics club. Other sports were added later, including association football in 1916. The name was changed to ''Volda TI'' in 1945. In 1998, the club was organized as an alliance sports team, which had two overarching legal entities: Football and general sports (Allidrett). Spjelkavik IL is a Norwegian sports club from the neighborhood Spjelkavik in Ålesund. It has sections for football, handball and skiing, and was founded on 18 March 1932. Alpine skiers Mona and Nina Løseth represent the club. The women's football team last played in the top division in 1992. Ann Kristin Aarønes was the top goalscorer during this heyday for the club. Langevåg Idrettslag is a sports club located in Langevåg, Sula, Norway. It has sections for association football, team handball and electric floorball. Football Langevåg played their first game on Langevåg Stadion in 1921. IL Hødd
Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081. The club's old home ground, Høddvoll Stadion, holds the record attendance of over 12,000 spectators at a match against Vålerenga in 1981.
