''Sunes jul'' (Swedish for ''Sune's Christmas'') was the 1991 SVT Christmas calendar. In 2004, it was later released to DVD. In 2007, it was voted the third best ever in Aftonbladet. It is based on the books series about the boy Sune by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson. The series was viewed by over 3,000,000 viewers, which at the time was an all-time record for SVT's Christmas calendar. Anders Jacobsson And Sören Olsson
Anders Jacobsson (born 1963) and Sören Olsson (born 1964) are two Sweden, Swedish-born cousins who are writers of children's literature and young adult fiction. They are best known for their books about Sune series, Sune and Bert diaries, Bert, but also Tuva-Lisa and Emanuel Hjort, Emanuel. They have also written the scripts of several television series. Their inspiration comes from their own youth, and talking to young adults (when visiting schools) and their own imagination. Sören Olsson has illustrated the Sune books and the first Bert book, while the other Bert books, in the old Bert book series, were illustrated by Sonja Härdin. Recordings and radio broadcasts consist of Anders reading Sune, and Sören reading Bert. The cousins have also created music together, as the act ''Hemliga byrån''. ''Swedish Television's Christmas calendar'' ( sv, Sveriges Televisions julkalender) or ''Swedish Television's Advent calendar'' ( sv, Sveriges Televisions adventskalender) is a Christmas calendar TV series mainly for children, broadcast by Sveriges Television (Sweden's Television) since 1960 and has developed into an essential part of contemporary Swedish Christmas tradition. Every series consists of 24 episodes (with a few exceptions), broadcast daily 1–24 December. The theme for most series have some connection to Christmas.
