''The Sunday Express'' was an English-language weekly newspaper published in Montreal. Foundation The paper was published by ''The Globe (tabloid), Midnight'' founder Joe Azaria, who also tried without success to turn the paper into a daily, under the name ''Daily Express.'' Marianne Letitia Ackerman (born 1952) is a Canadian novelist, playwright, and journalist. ''Mankind and Other Stories of Women'', her fifth work of prose fiction, was published by Guernica Editions in 2016. Her play ''Triplex Nervosa'' premiered at Centaur Theatre in April 2015. ''Triplex Nervosa Trilogy'' was published by Guernica in 2020. Andy Nulman (born 1959), is a Montreal-based businessman best known for his activities in co-founding and promoting the '' Just For Laughs'' comedy festival; under Nulman's stewardship, the festival grew from a two-day show to a month-long event drawing international audiences. Nulman also sold multimillion-dollar corporate sponsorships and creator and/or executive producer of more than 150 Festival TV shows, in a variety of languages, all over the world. Antonia Zerbisias is a Canadian journalist associated with the ''Toronto Star'' from 1989 until she took early retirement from the paper on 31 October 2014. She has been a reporter and TV host for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, as well as the Montreal correspondent for the trade paper, ''Variety''.
