''Weekend Edition'' is an Australian news and current affairs television program on Sky News Live on Saturdays and Sundays. It is the weekend incarnation of ''First Edition''. Saturday Edition ''Saturday Edition'' is a weekly Australian news and current affairs television program on Sky News Live. It is hosted by Greg Thomson and Jaynie Seal. The program was premiered on 9 July 2016 and runs from 7am to 10am (AEST) on Saturdays. It was originally planned to have the show break out for 30 minutes to allow '' Pyne & Marles'' to appear, but that program was moved to Friday afternoons after ''Saturday Edition'' began. The program replaces the bulk of ''First Edition'' as Sky News' breakfast program. The program was hosted by Paul Murray, along with ''Paul Murray Live''. Coinciding with the launch of ''Saturday Edition'', the Friday episode of ''Paul Murray Live'' became a highlights package of scenes from the previous week. ''Paul Murray Live'' is an Australian television current affairs and commentary program, shown on Sky News Australia and hosted by broadcaster Paul Murray. It airs weeknights. The show revolves around public Twitter discussions and the slogan "this is a show where we tell you what happened today and hopefully by the end of it you'll know what ''really'' happened today". News updates are presented by Sharon McKenzie. ''PVO NewsDay'' (formerly titled ''PVO NewsHour'') is an Australian television news and commentary program which was broadcast 4 times weekly on Sky News Australia. The program is hosted by Peter van Onselen, whose initials in part represent the program's title. The program covers a range of news, politics, sport, weather, finance and entertainment, as well as commentary from van Onselen and other contributors. Occasionally, home viewers are invited on-air to provide opinions as part of a panel discussion. The program aired Monday through Thursday between midday and 4pm Sydney time, with an hour break in the program at 1pm (previously a half-hour break only) for a separate but related program ''To the Point'', which focuses on political news and is co-hosted by van Onselen and Kristina Keneally. ''Agenda'' is the name given to a series of Australian television news and commentary programs, broadcast on Sky News Australia throughout the week. The ''Agenda'' series of bulletins serve as the channel's flagship program. The series focuses on mainly political topics, and in each episode the host usually interviews a guest, and is then usually joined by either Sky News contributors or politicians from opposing sides of politics debating the issues of the day. With the exception of ''Sunday Agenda'' and the Thursday episode of ''PM Agenda'', the program is broadcast live from the Sky News studio at Parliament House in Canberra. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. Kristina Keneally
Kristina Marie Kerscher Keneally (born 19 December 1968) is an American-born Australian politician who was a Labor Senator for New South Wales from February 2018 until April 2022, when she resigned to unsuccessfully contest the House of Representatives seat of Fowler. From 2019 to 2022 she served as Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, and Shadow Minister for Immigration and Citizenship. She previously served as the first female Premier of New South Wales from 2009 to 2011. Keneally was born in the United States to an American father and an Australian mother.
