Christian Clothing
Many Christians have followed certain dress codes during attendance at church. Customs have varied over time and among different Christian denominations. Clothing worn during religious services In some Christian communities, the term "Sunday best" refers to the tradition of saving one's finest clothing for Sunday services. In some communities, churches served as the main social center for local residents. As such, dressing in fine clothing for religious services was often dictated by a need to project status and influence among peers. Many Christians reject this practice and instead encourage modest, respectful dress not only for Sunday worship, but in everyday life (cf. ''outward holiness''). For example, Methodists in the conservative holiness movement teach with respect to modesty that before the fall of man, "Nakedness was 'very good' from the beginning, but its innocence was corrupted by the fall", a concept taught in and . and teach that after the fall of man, "publicly e ...

Sunday Best (company)
Sunday Best Recordings is a British music label, founded by DJ Rob da Bank and Sarah Bolshi in 2000. The label has always been renowned for its expansive roster and an unswerving dedication to the leftfield.    History Rob da Bank originally ran Sunday Best as a leftfield London club night from 1995, hosting DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx and Andrew Weatherall. Celebrating an ‘anything goes’ music policy, the club night formed an essential blueprint for the Sunday Best label. Rob went on to co-create Bestival and Camp Bestival and presently broadcasts as a radio DJ on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM after departing from BBC Radio One. Sarah Bolshi cut her teeth working in A&R at Big Life Records, mentored by Jazz Summers, working on acts like The Orb and De Le Soul before establishing her first breakbeat label Bolshi Records in 1996.  She is in the process of re-releasing the Bolshi catalogue digitally via the Sunday Best umbrella. Armed Forces (album)
''Armed Forces'' is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello, released on 5January 1979 in the United Kingdom through Radar Records. It was his second album with the Attractions—keyboardist Steve Nieve, bassist Bruce Thomas and drummer Pete Thomas (no relation)—and the first to officially credit them on the cover. The album was recorded in six weeks from August to September 1978 at Eden Studios in London under the working title ''Emotional Fascism''. Produced by Nick Lowe and engineered by Roger Béchirian, the sessions saw Costello exert more control over production compared to ''This Year's Model'' (1978), while Nieve contributed more to song arrangements. Most of the material for ''Armed Forces'' was written on the road throughout 1978. For the album, Costello sought a more commercial sound than the punk rock style employed on his two previous records, resulting in a more pop-oriented production reflecting the new wave era. Musical influen ...
