Summer's End (film)
''Summer's End'' is a 1999 drama television film directed by Helen Shaver (in her directorial debut) from a screenplay by Grant Scharbo and Jim Thompson, based on a story by Scharbo. The film tells the story of two teenage brothers who have lost their father, one of which befriends an African-American physician facing racial prejudice in a small town in Georgia. The film premiered on Showtime on January 30, 1999. It received nominations for four Daytime Emmy Awards, and won for best children's special and also best actor (James Earl Jones). ''Tuonela'' is the fourth full-length album by Finnish metal band Amorphis. This marks the first album by the band to feature Santeri Kallio on keyboards who performed as a session member and joined the band after in 1998. The album is named from Tuonela, the realm of the dead in Finnish mythology. The album also shares inspiration with many of the band's productions in the text and themes of the Kalevala, or Finnish Epic. This album was the last release with original and long time bassist, Olli-Pekka Laine, until his return on 2018's '' Queen of Time''. Laine quit a year after this release in 2000, because of musical differences and to focus on his family. ''Maximum Overload'' is the sixth studio album by British power metal band DragonForce, which was released in Europe on 18 August 2014, and in North America the next day. Trivium vocalist Matt Heafy contributed backing vocals on three songs, including the album's first single, " The Game". The album was produced by Jens Bogren, marking the first time the band decided not to record in their own studio and with an outside producer. John Prine
John Edward Prine (; October 10, 1946 – April 7, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter of country-folk music. He was active as a composer, recording artist, live performer, and occasional actor from the early 1970s until his death. He was known for an often humorous style of original music that has elements of protest and social commentary. Born and raised in Maywood, Illinois, Prine learned to play the guitar at age 14. He attended classes at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music. After serving in West Germany with the U.S. Army, he returned to Chicago in the late 1960s, where he worked as a mailman, writing and singing songs first as a hobby and then as a club performer. A member of Chicago's folk revival, a laudatory review by critic Roger Ebert built Prine's popularity. Singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson heard Prine at Steve Goodman's insistence, and Kristofferson invited Prine to be his opening act, leading to Prine's eponymous debut album with Atlantic Rec ...

''The Tree of Forgiveness'' is the eighteenth and final studio album by American country folk singer John Prine. The album was released on April 13, 2018. It is the last album released by Prine before his death on April 7, 2020. Background The album is Prine's first album since 2005's '' Fair & Square'' to consist of his own new songs. Most of the songs were co-written with other songwriters, including Pat McLaughlin, Dan Auerbach, Keith Sykes, and Phil Spector. The album features guest vocals from artists such as Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, and Brandi Carlile. Isbell and Shires also played instruments in some of the tracks. The album was recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville.
