Yashoda Wimaladharma
Yashoda Wimaladharma ( Sinhala: යශෝධා විමලධර්ම) is a Sri Lankan actress in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. Often referred to as the "innocent on the small screen", Wimaladharma excelled in cinema, television and theatre in a career spanning more than three decades. Through her experience in domestic and foreign cinema, she is also working as a jury member of foreign cinema festivals. Biography Yashoda Wimaladharma was born on 28 October 1970 in Sri Lanka to Ravilal Wimaladharma, a Hindi language lecturer at University of Kelaniya and Mallika Wimaladharma, a former dancer and school teacher. Sirasa TV
Sirasa TV is a digital, terrestrial television network in Sri Lanka. It is the sister channel of ' TV One' (Previously MTV Channel and MTV Sports) which was established in 1992. Sirasa TV was started in 1998 as a sister to its radio network Sirasa FM. Sirasa TV is owned by the Sri Lankan business conglomerate, Capital Maharaja Group together with Gregson Holdings Ltd. Since then, another multi-national company - International Media Management - has also invested in MTV. It broadcasts its programs mainly in Sinhala. Rashmini Paboda Sandeepani Pathirana, (born 16 January 1982) is a Sri Lankan cinema, theatre and television actress. Somaweera Senanayake (25 November 1944 – 9 June 2018; si, සෝමවීර සේනානායක) was a Sri Lankan award-winning teledrama and script writer who also worked as a journalist, short story writer and as a novelist in his career. Asoka Handagama (born December 1962) is a Sri Lankan filmmaker. He obtained his primary and secondary schooling in a provincial school and went on to study Mathematics at the University of Kelaniya where he was awarded a first class honours degree. He obtained his MSc in Development Economics at Warwick University in 1995. He is also an Assistant Governor of the Sri Lankan Central Bank.
