Amarasiri Peiris
Senadheerage Amarasiri Peiris ( Sinhala:අමරසිරි පීරිස්: born 21 July 1946) is a Sri Lankan singer. One of the most honored singers of Sri Lanka, Peiris is a well known violinist and a vocalist. Personal life He was born on 21 July 1946 in Boralesgamuwa as the eldest of the family. His father Albert Peiris was a classical artiste at Radio Ceylon popular in 1940s. Albert was the first disciple of the Master musician H.W. Rupasinghe. His mother M.K. Asilin was born in Meddewatta, Matara was a housewife. Malani Bulathsinhala (12 December 1949 - 29 March 2001: si, මාලනී බුලත්සිංහල) was a Sri Lankan singer. She began her musical career at age 10 with the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. Personal life Bulathsinhala was born on 12 December 1949, in Boralesgamuwa, the oldest child of Wilson and P. K. Bulathsinhala. She had two siblings, a brother, Sireshan, and sister, Sandhya. She completed her education at the Papiliyana Beacon School for Girls. She also served as Assistant Director of Education in the western Sri Lankan province of Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. Jagath Wickramasinghe ( si, ජගත් වික්රමසිංහ; born 10 April 1966) is a Sri Lankan musician. He is the current Chairman of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. Wickramasinghe pursued a career as an engineer, but later decided to become a musician like his parents. His career took off after his songs were played on stations owned by the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. He is one of the first three judges on ''Sirasa Superstar'' for season 1 to 3.
