Sultan Azlan Shah
Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuff Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah ( Jawi: ; 19 April 1928 – 28 May 2014) was the 34th Sultan of Perak and served as the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 26 April 1989 to 25 April 1994. The child of a royal father and commoner mother, he grew up in Perak, Malaysia. During school he played field hockey, subsequently playing for the Perak team. He trained to be a lawyer in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Malaysia, he soon became a judge and quickly rose through the legal ranks. In 1965, he became the youngest person appointed to the High Court of Malaya, and in 1982 he became the youngest ever Lord President of the Federal Court, the country's highest judicial rank. He succeeded as the Sultan of Perak after Sultan Idris Shah II, his first cousin once removed, died in 1984. Yang Di-Pertuan Agong
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong (, Jawi: ), also known as the Supreme Head of the Federation, the Paramount Ruler or simply as the Agong, and unofficially as the King of Malaysia, is the constitutional monarch and head of state of Malaysia. The office was established in 1957, when the Federation of Malaya (now Malaysia) gained independence from the United Kingdom. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong is elected by the Conference of Rulers, comprising the nine rulers of the Malay states, with the office de facto rotated between them, making Malaysia one of the world's few elective monarchies. The 16th and current Yang di-Pertuan Agong is Sultan Abdullah of Pahang, replacing Muhammad V of Kelantan, who abdicated on 6 January 2019. Abdullah was elected on 24 January 2019, at a special meeting of the Conference of Rulers; he took the oath of office and was sworn in at the Istana Negara on 31 January 2019. Raja Eleena
Raja Eleena binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-lah (born 3 April 1960) is the fourth child of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah. She was born on 3 April 1960 and during her school years, she went to SMK Convent Bukit Nanas. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of London. Yang Amat Mulia is a lawyer with her own legal firm in Kuala Lumpur. Biography Raja Eleena is also a practising barrister, being called by Lincoln's Inn, London, in 1985. Upon returning to Malaysia, she joined Messrs Skrine & Co and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1986. She set up her own legal practice Messrs Raja Eleena, Siew Ang & Associates in 1987, of which she is a senior partner. Raja Eleena was appointed to the Board of Gamuda on 1 June 1992. She is the niece of Kamarul Zaman bin Mohd Ali. She is a director and major shareholder of Generasi Setia (M) Sdn Bhd, which is a major shareholder of Gamuda.
