Sulabha Arya
Sulabha Arya (born 15 July 1950) is an Indian actress in Bollywood, Hindi and Marathi cinema, Marathi film, television and stage industry. She is the wife of late veteran Indian cinematographer Ishan Arya and mother of cinematographer Sameer Arya and actor Sagar Arya. She is best known for her role of Shanti Masi in ''Sasural Genda Phool''. She also portrayed Lakshmamma in Shyam Benegal's Amaravati ki Kathayein. Career Arya was part of the Indian television industry's first sitcom, ''Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi'', aired in 1984. She played the role of Kanta Ben in the 2003 dramedy film ''Kal Ho Naa Ho''. She played the role of the mother in law in television series, ''Yes Boss (TV series), Yes Boss'' on SAB TV. She was last seen at SET SAB's Maddam Sir as Saira Begum. Ishan Arya
Ishan Arya (born Irshad Ahsan) was an Indian cinematographer, and producer, best known as producer and cinematographer of Art cinema classic ''Garm Hava'' (1973). After working in theatre and advertising, he made his debut with ''Garm Hava'' directed by M. S. Sathyu. After that he worked largely in South Indian cinema, especially Telugu, though he work on two noted Hindi art films, ''Bazaar (1982 film), Bazaar'' (1982) directed by Sagar Sarhadi and ''Anjuman (1986 film), Anjuman'' (1986) directed by Muzaffar Ali. At the 23rd National Film Awards, he won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography, Best Cinematography Award for Telugu film, ''Mutyala Muggu'' (1975). ''Maddam Sir'' is an Indian Hindi-language comedy action television series that premiered on 24 February 2020 on Sony SAB, digitally streamed on SonyLIV.
