Suiza Foods
Dean Foods was an American food and beverage company and the largest dairy company in the United States. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company maintained plants and distributors in the United States. Dean Foods had 66 manufacturing facilities in 32 U.S. states and distributed its products across all 50. Its 24 brands include DairyPure, TruMoo, Friendly's, Mayfield Dairy, Mayfield, Dean's, Meadow Gold, Tuscan Dairy Farms, Tuscan, T.G.Lee and Alta Dena. In November 2019, the company filed for Chapter 11, Title 11, United States Code, Chapter 11 bankruptcy citing the decline in consumption of cow's milk. In 2020, following the bankruptcy, Dean Foods' assets were acquired by several companies, with the largest share going to Dairy Farmers of America. History Dean Foods was founded by Samuel E. The Cityplace Tower is a 42-story building located at 2711 North Haskell Avenue at North Central Expressway (US 75) in the Cityplace district of Uptown Dallas, Texas (USA). The building is tall and has of office space. It is also the tallest building in Dallas outside of Downtown. History The building was designed by Cossutta & Associates ( Araldo Cossutta, principal) of New York to be the corporate headquarters for Southland Corporation (now 7-Eleven). Formerly named CityPlace East, it was conceived as the first phase of the Cityplace development. A twin tower (CityPlace West), later canceled, was planned across North Central Expressway with a skybridge connection over the highway. Several mid-rise buildings were also planned around the base of both towers. Construction began in December 1984 and the tower opened in 1988 after one year of delays.
