''Sugbuak'' (portmanteau of ''Sugbu'' and ''buak'') refers to the failed proposal to divide the island province of Cebu in the Philippines into four separate provinces in 2007. Ricardo Tito Jamin Vidal ( la, Ricardus Titus Vidal; es, Ricardo Tito Vidal y Jamín; (February 6, 1931 - October 18, 2017) was a Filipino prelate of the Catholic Church. Bogo City
Bogo, officially the City of Bogo ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Bogo; fil, Lungsod ng Bogo), is a 6th class component city in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 88,867 people. The plebiscite for the cityhood of Bogo was held on June 16, 2007, in which 97.82% of voters of Bogo voted for cityhood. Internal Revenue Allotment
The Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) is a local government unit’s (LGU) share of revenues from the Philippine national government. Provinces, independent cities, component cities, municipalities, and barangays each get a separate allotment. The allotment is largely based upon the type of government they are and a formula based upon their land area and population. Section 284 of the Local Government Code of the Philippines (RA 7160) sets up the formula for the distribution of the allotment. All or nearly all of the revenue that a local government has to spend comes from their IRA, though some local governments also have additional local sources of revenue such as property taxes and government fees.
