Paul Reddick
Paul Reddick is a Canadian blues singer, songwriter and harmonica player. He was the founder of the group The Sidemen, active from 1990 until the early 2000s. In 1990, he formed The Sidemen, a blues band based out of Toronto, which toured and recorded until the early 2000s. Blues Music
Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s. Blues incorporated spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts, chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads from the African-American culture. The blues form is ubiquitous in jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll, and is characterized by the call-and-response pattern (the blues scale and specific chord progressions) of which the twelve-bar blues is the most common. Blue notes (or "worried notes"), usually thirds, fifths or sevenths flattened in pitch, are also an essential part of the sound. Colin Kendall Linden (born 16 April 1960) is a Canadian guitarist, songwriter and record producer. Linden plays acoustic and electric guitar, specializing in slide guitar, country blues, and ragtime fingerpicking. He frequently collaborates with country and folk performers. He is a member of Blackie and the Rodeo Kings with Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson. Kate Schutt
Kate Schutt is an American singer and songwriter who has released two albums ''No Love Lost'' and ''The Telephone Game.'' Career Schutt learned to play the guitar as a child and began playing the guitar and writing songs at the age of 11. She gave first performance when she was 12 and wrote her first song at 13. She studied at The Berklee College of Music and Harvard University. In 2002, she had throat surgery and did not perform again until July 2003. She released a five-song EP, ''Heart-Shot'', in 2004, on which Schutt played a Novax 8-string guitar/bass hybrid for the first time. James Hutchinson (born January 24, 1953) is an American session bassist best known for his work with Bonnie Raitt. Though his work takes him nearly everywhere he primarily resides in Studio City, Los Angeles, CA and Haiku-Pauwela, Hawaii. Chris Carmichael (musician)
Chris Carmichael is a musician and arranger born in San Antonio, Texas on July 6, 1962. The son of an Air Force fighter pilot, he moved extensively before taking up the violin while living in Hampton, Virginia. After moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1975, he entered into more formal training - studying violin with Western Kentucky University professor Betty Pease (a former student of Ivan Galamian) for eight years.
