Susan Lynette Smith (born 24 January 1951 in Ulverstone, Tasmania) was an independent member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council in the electoral division of Montgomery The electoral division of Montgomery is one of the fifteen electorates in the Tasmanian Legislative Council. It is centred on the Central Coast area and includes the localities of; Ulverstone, Penguin, Heybridge, Hampshire and West Pine. .... She was first elected to the division of Leven in 1997 but the seat was abolished in 1999 and she transferred to the newly created seat of Montgomery. She was elected unopposed in 2007 and retired on 4 May 2013. From June 2008 to May 2013 she was President of the Legislative Council, the first woman to hold that office. Smith is married with a grown son and daughter. Sue Smith (footballer)
Susan Jane Smith (born 24 November 1979) is a former English international footballer who last played for Doncaster Rovers Belles and England. She is an experienced left–sided winger or forward. Club career Smith played for Tranmere Rovers since she was a teenager, but after years of fielding several offers from top clubs around the country, she signed on for Leeds United (known as Leeds Carnegie from 2008 until 2010) in the summer of 2002. Following the failure of Leeds' bid to join the FA WSL, Smith signed for Lincoln Ladies in August 2010. In December 2011 Smith joined Doncaster Rovers Belles, who had tried to sign her on two previous occasions. Belles manager John Buckley described the capture of Smith as "a tremendous coup for the club". Smith scored on her Belles debut in a 2–1 FA Women's Cup win at Barnet, but was later carried off with damaged cruciate and medial ligaments. Sue Smith (born Sue Maslen on 23 February 1948) is a British people, British horse trainer. Background Smith was originally from West Sussex. Her father owned racehorses at the time and she would ride them out at Epsom. She had the distinction of participating in Britain's initial ladies' race. In her youth, she was an international show jumper. Training Smith trains at Craiglands Farm near Bingley Moor, in West Yorkshire. The farm consists of 150 acres and facilities for 55 horses. Her first winner came in 1990 when African Safari won a three-runner chase at Ascot Racecourse, Ascot. He had been purchased at the Ascot Sales for 4,300 guineas. She received her full licence in 1990. Grand National In 2013 Grand National, 2013 Smith trained Auroras Encore to win the Grand National.
