Sudjiran Resosudarmo
Sudjiran Resosudarmo (1920–1985) (also written as Soedjiran Resosoedarmo or Soedjiran Reksosoe-darmo) was an Indonesian geographer and teacher. He was the rector of Institut Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (IKIP) Jakarta, now known as the State University of Jakarta, from 1980 till 1984. Career Sudjiran began his teaching career in Bali during the prolonged struggle for Indonesian independence, then moved to Jakarta, teaching in primary and secondary schools. There he met his wife, Satimah Mardjana. State University of Jakarta ( Indonesian: ''Universitas Negeri Jakarta'', commonly abbreviated as UNJ) is a public university in Jakarta, Indonesia. Founded in 1964 as the Jakarta Institute of Teaching and Education (IKIP Jakarta), it was later converted into a state university by the Indonesian government in 1999. The university has four campuses in East and South Jakarta, with the main campus being located in Rawamangun. Divided into 8 faculties, the university had a graduating class of 3,906 in 2016. Early 2021, UNJ obtained Excellent Accreditation. Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih
Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih (1 February 1955 – 2 May 2012) was an Indonesian physician, researcher, and author. She served as Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia from October 22, 2009 until her passing on May 2, 2012. Career Sedyaningsih began her career in 1979 as a clinician in the Jakarta Pertamina Hospital. She joined the public health service in 1980 and worked in remote areas as the Head of Waipare Health Center in East Nusa Tenggara for three years. In 1983, she moved to Jakarta and continued working in the public health service with the Jakarta Provincial Health Office. In 1997, she joined the National Institute of Health Research and Development (NIHRD) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Budy P Resosudarmo
Budy P. Resosudarmo (born 1961) is a professor in development and environmental economics at the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics, Crawford School of Public Policy, at the Australian National University (ANU). He is the head of the ANU Indonesia Project and the deputy director of the Poverty and Inequality Research Centre. He was the education director of the Crawford School for the 2021-2022 period. Since 2022, he has been a Fellow of the Regional Science Association International. Budy has been mostly working on development and environmental issues in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia. In conducting his research, he implements, among others, impact evaluation, spatial and inter-regional modelling techniques. He has been active and significantly contributing in the development of academic associations in the field of regional science and environmental economics in Southeast Asia.
