Suda E. Butler High School
Butler Traditional High School is a high school in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. History Suda E. Butler High School opened in 1954. It was chosen in 1988 as the second high school in Jefferson County to offer the Traditional Program. In this program the standards of patriotism, morality, and personal integrity are stressed in a structured learning environment. The school has a strict dress code, discipline code, heterogeneous grouping, technology major, and college preparatory curriculum. It is the only school in JCPS to obtain and/or exceed its goal for CATS testing every year during the existence of the yearly examinations. They recently, in the 2009-2010 school year, added the Freshman Academy to their school. Within the next two or three years they plan on changing from the traditional semester to trimester schedule. Louisville, Kentucky

Bryce Alexander Dejean-Jones (August 21, 1992 – May 28, 2016) was an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Iowa State University after stints with USC and UNLV, and played professionally for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Christopher Patrick Smith (born August 19, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2017. Dale L. Romans (born August 14, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse trainer, best known for winning the 2011 Preakness Stakes with Shackleford and the Breeders' Cup Turf with Little Mike. Joseph Martin "Jodie" Mudd (born April 23, 1960) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Professional career Mudd was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, where he developed into an honored amateur golfer. Mudd successfully earned a spot on the PGA Tour during 1983 PGA Tour Qualifying School. Mudd won four PGA Tour events during his career. His top year was 1990, when he finished 5th on the final money list, and won two of the Tour's most prestigious non-majors: the Nabisco Championship and The Players Championship.
