Neven Subotić (; Serbian Cyrillic: Heвeн Cубoтић; born 10 December 1988) is a Serbian retired professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Subotić made his professional debut in 2007 for 1. Mitar Subotić "Suba" ( sr-Cyrl, Митар Суботић Суба; June 23, 1961 – November 2, 1999), also known as Rex Ilusivii (Latin for ''The King of Illusions''), was a Serbian-born musician and composer who was set to become one of Brazil's most prominent producers where he died in November 1999. Subotić obtained a university degree in his hometown from the University of Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia, before continuing electronic music studies in Belgrade. Danijel Subotić (born 31 January 1989) is a Swiss footballer who plays for FC Glattbrugg. Career Beginning Subotić was born in Zagreb, SR Croatia, but his family originated from Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, all back then part of Yugoslavia. Stanko Subotić ( sr-cyr, Станко Суботић; born 9 September 1959) is a Serbian businessman and the founder and owner of the Luxembourg-based holding company EMI Group (Emerging Marketing Investments APS) which owns Moj Kiosk Group and the French holding company Louis Max. To the public, Subotić was known as a close friend of Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić and an active supporter of the democratic opposition in Serbia while Slobodan Milošević was still in power. Jovan Subotić (1817–1886) was a Serbian lawyer, writer, politician and academic. Biography Jovan Subotić was born at Dobrinci in Srem on 30 January 1817. After completing his high school (gymnasium) education in Sremski Karlovci and Segedin, he proceeded in 1833 to the University of Pest (now the University of Budapest). He was among the most popular students of his time and served as president of the Serbian Students' Union. Before going to the university he had published some verses, and while still at the university put forth a book of collected poems under the title of Lira in 1837, and in 1843 another volume of poems entitled Bosilj. In 1840 he left the University of Pest with two doctorate degrees, one in philosophy (1836) and another in jurisprudence (1840). Slobodan "Piksi" Subotić ( sr-Cyrl, Слободан Суботић, el, Σλόμπονταν Σούμποτιτς; born 15 August 1956) is a Slovenian professional basketball coach and former player. He last served as the head coach for Budućnost of the ABA League, Montenegrin League and the EuroCup. He has Greek citizenship, which he obtained to circumvent EU administrative restrictions while playing and coaching there. Bojan Subotić (Serbian Cyrillic: Бојан Суботић, born December 17, 1990) is a Serbian-Montenegrin professional basketball player for FMP of the Serbian Basketball League of Serbia League.
