''Shubhayathra'' () is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film directed by Kamal and written by P. R. Nathan. Starring Jayaram and Parvathy in the lead roles, and Innocent, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Mamukkoya and Jagadeesh in other pivotal roles, the film examines the life of middle-class Malayalee families in the city of Mumbai. Plot Vishnu and Arundhathi, working in Mumbai, meet each other at their common friend, Raman's house. They fall in love at first sight and get married. The film is their struggle to lead a family life and to find an accommodation in a city like Mumbai. Parvathy Jayaram
Ashwathy Kurup (born 7 April 1970), better known by her stage name Parvathy and married name Parvathy Jayaram (Aswathi Jayaram) , is a former Indian actress, costume designer and classical dancer, who appeared in Malayalam films. Parvathy was a popular actress in Malayalam cinema during the late-1980s and early-1990s. Her first film was directed by Lenin Rajendran, but was shelved and never released. Innocent (actor)
Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles. He has acted in more than 750 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. He has also appeared in villainous roles, such as in ''Mazhavilkavadi'', '' Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu'' and ''Ganamela''. Innocent has won several awards, including three Kerala State Film Awards. Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed, mononymously known as Kamal, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He works in Malayalam cinema.
