Subaru Outback
The Subaru Outback is an automotive nameplate used by the Japanese automaker Subaru for two different vehicles: a crossover station wagon, the Outback (1994–present, also sold as in some markets), and an Impreza-derived hatchback, the Outback Sport (1994–2011). Most versions of the Outback wagon and Outback Sport have had all-wheel drive as standard equipment. Subaru Legacy (second Generation)
The second-generation Subaru Legacy was marketed in Japan from October 1993, and July 1994 marked the second generation in North America with a full body and chassis revision. Subaru Legacy (seventh Generation)
The Subaru Legacy (BW) is the seventh generation of the Legacy range of mid-size cars, with the station wagon version the Subaru Outback (BT) being the sixth generation of the Legacy-based Outback range. It made its debut at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show on February 7, 2019, and went on sale in the third quarter of 2019. Unlike the previous generations, the seventh generation Legacy will not be sold in Japan and Australia due to disappointing sales for its predecessor. The Subaru FA engine is a gasoline boxer-4 engine used in Subaru and Toyota automobiles. It is a derivative of the FB engine, however, efforts to reduce weight while maintaining durability were the main goals of the FA engine.
