Subah (TV Series)
''Subah'' is an Indian television series that aired on DD National in 1987 directed by Bharat Rangachary. It is based on a novel by Sivasankari, titled ''Avan''. The title song for the series, "Aye zamane tere samne aa gaye", was sung by R. D. Burman. Plot The story starts with an innocent young man joining college. He is friends with a junkie Salim Ghouse. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). The ''480'' identifies a vertical resolution of 480 lines, and the ''i'' identifies it as an interlaced resolution. The field rate, which is 60 Hz (or 59.94 Hz when used with NTSC color), is sometimes included when identifying the video mode, i.e. 480i60; another notation, endorsed by both the International Telecommunication Union in BT.601 and SMPTE in SMPTE 259M, includes the frame rate, as in 480i/30. Sivasankari
Sivasankari (born 14 October 1942) is an Indian author and activist who writes in Tamil. She is one of the four Tamil writers asked by the United States Library of Congress to record their voice as part of the South Asian article on Sivashankari. Early life Sivasankari was born in Madras. Including herself, all the children in her family were educated in the Sri Ramakrishna Mission and Sarada Vidyalaya schools. She then studied at SIET College for Women. DD National (formerly DD1) is a state-owned public entertainment television channel in India. It is the flagship channel of Doordarshan, India's public service broadcaster, and the oldest and most widely available terrestrial television channel in India. Bharat Rangachary
Bharat Rangachary was an Indian film director and producer of Bollywood. He has directed several successful films like '' Zameen Aasmaan'', ''Baat Ban Jaye'', '' Waqt Hamara Hai'' and '' Takkar''. He died on 4 July 1995, in Bombay due to cancer. His last film ''Takkar'' was released shortly after his death. He started his career as an assistant director with Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Salim Ahmad Ghouse (10 January 1952 – 28 April 2022) was an Indian film, television and theatre actor, theatre director, and martial artist.
