Stéphane Sarrazin
Stéphane Jean-Marc Sarrazin (born 2 November 1975) is a French professional racing driver. He has won races across a number of single-seater, sportscar and rallying disciplines and competitions, was French Formula Renault champion in 1994, and Le Mans Series champion in both 2007 and 2010. He has finished on the podium six times at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, including four outright second positions, although he has never won. He participated in one Formula One Grand Prix, the 1999 Brazilian Grand Prix, for Minardi as a replacement for Luca Badoer, who had injured his wrist. He suffered a big spin in the race coming up to the start-finish straight on lap 31 and scored no championship points. Barjac, Gard
Barjac () is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. The valley of the river Cèze lies to the south, and the river Ardèche is to the north. Barjac is a Renaissance town. The old city centre retains ancient narrow streets, squares and houses of that time. The with its stone courtyard, once called the "Citadel", has been rebuilt several times from the twelfth century. This imposing edifice now features a library in the former stables, and a cinema in the old kitchens. The chateau is the venue for the festival "Chansons de Paroles" (Songs and Words) held annually in late July. 2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge
The 2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge was the fourth season of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. The season consists of twelve rounds and began on January 21, with the 77° Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo. The season ended on November 21, at the inaugural RAC Rally of Scotland. 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship
The 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship was the inaugural FIA GT1 World Championship, a motor racing competition reserved for FIA GT1 cars. The championship was a replacement for the FIA GT Championship which had been held annually from 1997 to 2009. It was the first sports car racing series to be sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as a World Championship since the demise of the World Sportscar Championship at the end of the 1992 season. The 2012 International V8 Supercar Championship (often simplified to the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship) was an FIA sanctioned international motor racing series for V8 Supercars. The 2011 International V8 Supercar Championship (often simplified to the 2011 V8 Supercars Championship) was an FIA sanctioned international motor racing series for V8 Supercars. It was the thirteenth V8 Supercar Championship Series and the fifteenth series in which V8 Supercars contested the premier Australian touring car title. 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup
The 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup was the second and final Season running of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, an international auto racing championship for manufacturers and teams. The Cup featured endurance races from the American Le Mans Series, Le Mans Series, and a stand-alone event in Zhuhai, China. 2012 European Le Mans Series
The 2012 European Le Mans Series was the ninth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's European Le Mans Series (previously known as simply Le Mans Series). Championship titles were awarded in five categories, with the Le Mans Series shifting its categories following its separation from the FIA World Endurance Championship. LMP1 cars were dropped due to most teams entering the FIA World Endurance Championship while a new GTC category was created to allow single make grand tourer cars and FIA GT3s to compete in endurance races. However, there were no GTC cars that competed during the season. The 2014 European Rally Championship season was the 62nd season of the FIA European Rally Championship, the European continental championship series in rallying. The season was also the second following the merger between the European Rally Championship and the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. The 2013 European Rally Championship season was the 61st season of the FIA European Rally Championship, the European continental championship series in rallying. The season was also the first following the merger between the European Rally Championship and the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. French broadcaster Eurosport, which previously organised the IRC, assumed the duties of organising the ERC.
