Stéphane Roda
Stéphane Roda (born 16 June 1973 in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France) is a French former professional football midfielder. During his career Roda played for Aurillac, Metz, Gueugnon, Strasbourg, Angers, Le Havre and Fréjus. Roda played in the 2000 Coupe de la Ligue Final and helped Gueugnon win the 1999–2000 Coupe de la Ligue. Cagnes-sur-Mer (, literally ''Cagnes on Sea''; oc, Canha de Mar) is a French Riviera town in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Geography Cagnes-sur-Mer is a town in south-eastern France located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, between Saint-Laurent-du-Var and Villeneuve-Loubet. It stretches along a cove offering nearly four kilometers (2 miles) of beach and is surrounded by hills, including that of the castle which rises to 300 feet (90 meters) above sea level. History It was the retreat and final address of the painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, who moved there in 1907 in an attempt to improve his arthritis, and remained until his death in 1919. The Coupe de la Ligue (), known outside France as the French League Cup, was a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in France, French football organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel. The tournament was established in 1993 and, unlike the Coupe de France, was only open to professional clubs in France which play in country's French football league system, top three football divisions, though the Championnat National, third is not fully professional.
