Ståle Sandbech
Ståle Sandbech (born 3 June 1993) is a Norwegian snowboarder, who specialises in Big Air, and Slopestyle. He has participated at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the Men's slopestyle in 2014. Sandbech has also competed at several Winter X Games winning 2 Silver medals in 2015, and 2017 and 3 bronze medals in 2013, and 2014, and a Gold medal at the 2017 World Championships. Career Sandbech comes from Rykkinn in Bærum and competes for the club BSK Snowboard. He started snowboarding at the age of eight and, in 2007, was invited to the rookie-competition of The Arctic Challenge. The organizer of TAC Terje Håkonsen said Sandbech was the best 13-year-old snowboarder in Norway at the time. Bærum
Bærum () is a municipality in the Greater Oslo Region in Norway that forms an affluent suburb of Oslo on the west coast of the city. Sven Thorgren
Sven Thorgren (born 4 October 1994) is a Swedish snowboarder who competes in slopestyle. He started snowboarding when he was seven years old. He practiced every day after school on a small mountain called Väsjöbacken. Thorgren qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympics. On 6 February 2014 in the qualification event, Thorgren finished third in his heat and qualified directly to the finals. In the finals, he finished fourth. His most recent medal was at Air&Style, China, where he got the gold medal. Andreas Wiig
Andreas Ygre Wiig (born 5 March 1981) is a Norwegian professional snowboarder. He rides regular. Andreas was born in Oslo and grew up in Asker. He made a name for himself when he won two gold medals at the 2007 and 2008 Winter X Games (WXG). In the 2007 Winter X Games' Best Trick competition he went head-to-head and won against Travis Rice, who bailed during both his daring attempts at a Double Cork 1080, and in Slopestyle competition he beat Jussi Oksanen as well as four time defending Slopestyle gold medalist Shaun White, who also was in pursuit of his seventh X-Games gold medal. Wiig already had a bronze medal from WXG 2005 and a silver medal from 2006. In the 2008 Winter X Games he again beat Shaun White for the slopestyle gold medal. Sage Kotsenburg
Sage Kotsenburg (born July 27, 1993) is an American snowboarder. He won the first-ever Olympic gold medal in men's snowboard slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, and became the first gold medalist at these Olympics. Kotsenburg won a silver medal in snowboard slopestyle at the 2012 Winter X Games XVI in Aspen, Colorado, behind Mark McMorris. Torstein Horgmo
Torstein Horgmo (born 18 February 1987) is a Norwegian professional snowboarder. Horgmo has competed, and medalled in, a variety of slopestyle and big air snowboarding competitions. He rides regular stance. Personal Horgmo grew up in Trondheim, Norway, before eventually moving to Oslo. Horgmo first began snowboarding when he was twelve years old, prior to which he had only skied. Horgmo is a DC Shoes rider with many sponsors including Oakley, Inc., DNB ASA, GoPro, and others. In 2012 he released his own film titled "Horgasm – A Love Story", chronicling his snowboarding career over the course of two years. Terje Håkonsen
Terje Håkonsen (born 11 October 1974 in Vinje, Norway) is a Norwegian professional snowboarder. He is considered one of the most influential snowboarders in the history of the sport. In the book ''The way of the snowboarder'', Rob Reed wrote that "Haakonsen took the young sport of snowboarding and revolutionized nearly every aspect of it". Håkonsen dominated freestyle competitions during the 1990s. He won the International Snowboarding Federation (ISF) World Championship in halfpipe three times: 1993, 1995 and 1997.
