Stuart Martin (born 8 January 1986) is a Scottish actor. He is known for his roles in the Channel 4 comedy-drama ''Babylon'' (2014), as well as the historical dramas '' Medici: Masters of Florence'' (2016), '' Jamestown'' (2017–2019), and ''Miss Scarlet and The Duke'' (2020–present). Lisa McGrillis (born 3 September 1982, Cheltenham, England) is a British actress. Early life and education McGrillis grew up in Scotby, near Carlisle in Cumbria with her mother, a special needs teacher, and her father, an accountant. She studied performing arts at Northumbria University. Career McGrillis had a role in '' The Pitmen Painters'', by Lee Hall, in 2007. It transferred to London's National Theatre and then to Broadway. River City
''River City'' is a Scottish television soap opera that was first broadcast on BBC One Scotland on 24 September 2002. ''River City'' follows the lives of the people who live and work in the fictional district of Shieldinch. In November 2017, a short crossover episode of the show was made for '' Children in Need'' and featured several of the show's characters meeting characters from Scottish sitcom ''Scot Squad''. In March 2020, production of ''River City'' was halted due to the COVID–19 pandemic, and filming recommenced in August 2020. Lorenzo the Elder (c. 1395 – 23 September 1440) was an Italian banker of the House of Medici of Florence, the younger brother of Cosimo de' Medici the Elder and progenitor of the so-called "Popolani" ("populist, i.e. for the people") line of the family, named for a later generation whose members were supporters of the Florentine political activist Girolamo Savonarola.
