Stuart Cochrane
Stuart Cochrane (born 20 July 1978) is a former Australian Football League (AFL) and South Australian National Football League (SANFL) footballer who played for the North Melbourne, Port Adelaide and Central District Football Clubs. After being delisted at the end of 2005, Cochrane played for Central District in the SANFL before retiring from football after playing in a losing 2006 Grand Final side. Central District Football Club is an Australian rules football club which plays in the South Australian National Football League. The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed the Kangaroos, is a professional Australian rules football club. The men's team competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), and the women's team in the AFL Women's (AFLW). The Kangaroos also field a reserves men's team in the Victorian Football League (VFL). The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game.
