"Stripped" is a song by British electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released as the lead single from their fifth studio album ''Black Celebration'' (1986) on 10 February 1986, through Mute Records. Written by the band's lead songwriter Martin Gore, "Stripped" has been described as an "ominous and intriguing pop song." It incorporates various samples into its instrumental; most notably, the sound of an idling motorcycle engine was recorded, altered slightly, and inserted as a percussive element. It was the band's sixth consecutive single to enter the UK Top 20, peaking at number 15. Elsewhere, it peaked at number 4 in Germany and reached the top 10 in Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. German metal band Rammstein later covered the song for the 1998 Depeche Mode tribute album ''For the Masses''. The Score is an American alternative rock duo formed in New York City in 2011, now based in Los Angeles. The group consists of Eddie Anthony Ramirez (lead vocals, guitar) and Edan Chai Dover (backing vocals, keys, producer). Chris Coombs and Logan Baldwin are touring members for the band. They were signed to Republic Records in 2015 after their song "Oh My Love" was featured in an advertising campaign for Asda supermarkets. History 2011–2013: Early Years Eddie Anthony and Edan Chai Dover formed the group in 2011 and made collaborative demos on SoundCloud. ''Stripped'' is a 2014 documentary film about comic strips and their transition from the failing newspaper industry to the web. Work on ''Stripped'' began in 2010. The film's original concept was to make a documentary about cartoonists in their studios. ''Stripped'' features interviews with over 70 comic creators, who discuss their trade and its prospects in the 21st century. ''Souls at Zero'' is the third studio album by the American avant-garde metal band Neurosis. It was released in 1992 by the Alternative Tentacles record label. It was reissued in 1999 with bonus tracks on the band's own Neurot Recordings label. On February 15, 2010, the album was reissued on CD and digitally with new artwork by Neurot. ''Doubt'' is the second album by British rock band Jesus Jones, released in 1991. The album reached number 25 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and topped the UK Albums Chart, and the tracks "Real Real Real", " Right Here, Right Now", "International Bright Young Thing", "Who? Where? Why?" and "Welcome Back Victoria" were released as singles to promote it. The album was issued by Food in the UK and by SBK in the US. Background According to the album booklet, ''Doubt'' was recorded in seven days in May 1990, but "the mixing took a bit longer". Stage Dolls is a Norwegian hard rock band based in Trondheim, Norway. History In 1982, Erlend Antonsen and Terje Storli played at local clubs in and around Trondheim. In need of a guitarist they called on Torstein Flakne, who by then had finished playing in The Kids (a popular teeny-band in Norway 1980-82). Throughout the summer and fall of 1982 the newly formed band started rehearsing and playing shows in the region. The trio took the name Stage Dolls in January 1983. The first album, titled ''Soldier's Gun'', was released in late 1985, after a successful nationwide tour in Norway supporting the Norwegian band TNT. Antonsen left the band in 1985 and was replaced by Steinar Krokstad; he in turn left in 1993 and was replaced by Morten Skogstad.
