Strictly Come Dancing (series 9)
''Strictly Come Dancing'' returned for its ninth series on 10 September 2011 with a launch show, with the live shows starting on 30 September and 1 October 2011. The show was broadcast from Wembley Arena on 19 November with all proceeds going to the BBC charity, Children in Need. The final took place at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and was the first episode in 3D, and was shown on BBC HD and 18 cinemas around the country. As in series 8 there are 14 couples with one new male professional, Pasha Kovalev, replacing Jared Murillo. Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly continued to present the main show on BBC One, while the results show was presented by Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Former contestant Zoe Ball replaced Winkleman as the regular presenter of the spin-off show '' Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two'' due to Winkleman's family commitments. Harry Judd
Harry Mark Christopher Judd (born 23 December 1985) is an English musician, dancer and author. He is the drummer for the band McFly. Judd won the 2011 series of ''Strictly Come Dancing''. Judd published his first book, ''Get Fit Get Happy'', in 2017. Early life and education Judd was born in Chelmsford, Essex in southern England, the youngest of three children. He is the son of Emma and Christopher Judd. He was educated at Old Buckenham Hall, a preparatory school in the village of Brettenham, Suffolk, at Dame Bradbury's School, a preparatory school in Saffron Walden, Essex, and at Uppingham School, an independent boarding school in Uppingham, Rutland. While at Uppingham, Judd was a member of Fircroft house, and was a promising batsman but gave up cricket to pursue a career in music. Erin Boag
Erin Boag (born 17 March 1975) is a professional ballroom dancer. She has danced from the age of three, originally starting ballet and later moving into ballroom dance, ballroom, Latin dance, Latin and Jazz dance, jazz. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, she moved to Australia as a teenager to progress her dancing career, before moving to London in 1996. She started professionally dancing and is well known for being on ''Strictly Come Dancing'' in the UK with her partner Anton du Beke. Boag is an honorary patron of the theatre charity The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America. Professional career Boag's regular professional partner is Anton du Beke. Lilia Kopylova
Lilia Andreyevna Kopylova (russian: link=no, Лилия Андреевна Копылова; born 18 June 1978) is a Russian professional dancer. With her husband Darren Bennett, she has been competing as an amateur since July 1997 and as a professional since May 2003. The couple has achieved considerable success in the professional Latin style of dancing, both nationally in the UK and internationally. Biography Kopylova started ice skating aged four, winning the title of junior Moscow champion aged nine. In 1987, she started training as a dancer. McFly are an English pop rock band formed in London in 2003. The band took their name from the '' Back to the Future'' character Marty McFly. Season eleven of ''Dancing with the Stars'' premiered on September 20, 2010, on the ABC network. Several changes were introduced this season, including an "Acoustic Week," in which couples performed either the rumba or the Argentine tango while the audience was brought closer to the dance floor which was elevated and made circular. Contestants from previous seasons also came back as guest judges when the current contestants attempted re-created memorable routines in the 200th episode.
