''Stregati'' (''Bewitched'') is a 1986 Italian romantic comedy film directed by Francesco Nuti. For this film Giovanni Nuti won the Nastro d'Argento for best score. Plot Lorenzo is a dj who lives in Genoa, in a loft near the port; he conducts a nocturnal radio program for Radio Strega, keeping company, with his words and sentences, for those who suffer from insomnia or work at night. Francesco Nuti
Francesco Nuti (born 17 May 1955) is an Italian actor, film director and screenwriter. Biography Born in Prato, Nuti began his professional career as an actor in the late 1970s, when he formed the cabaret group ''Giancattivi'' together with Alessandro Benvenuti and Athina Cenci. The group took part in the TV shows ''Black Out'' and ''Non Stop'' for RAI TV, and shot their first feature film, '' West of Paperino'' (1981), written and directed by Benvenuti. The following year Nuti abandoned the trio and began a solo career with three movies directed by Maurizio Ponzi: '' What a Ghostly Silence There Is Tonight'' (1982), ''The Pool Hustlers'' (1982) and '' Son contento'' (1983). Novello Novelli (2 March 1930 – 10 January 2018) was an Italian character actor. Life and career Born in Poggibonsi, province of Siena, as Novellantonio Novelli, a former footballer and surveyor, Novelli initially was the manager of the cabaret group "I Giancattivi" consisting of Francesco Nuti, Athina Cenci and Alessandro Benvenuti. In 1981, he made his acting debut in the Giancattivi's film ''West of Paperino'', then, after the group disbanded, Novelli remained associated to Nuti, appearing in almost all his films. He also worked with Benvenuti, being critically appreciated for his performances in ''Welcome to Home Gori'' and its sequel, ''Return to Home Gori''. Death Novelli died in Poggibonsi on 10 January 2018, aged 87. Giovanni Veronesi (born 1962) is an Italian film screenwriter, actor and director. Born in Prato, he is the brother of the writer Sandro Veronesi. He started his career writing scripts for directors such as Francesco Nuti, Leonardo Pieraccioni, Massimo Ceccherini and Carlo Verdone. He debuted as film director with ''Maramao'' in 1987, before reaching commercial success with ''What Will Happen to Us'' (2004).
