''Street Life'' is a studio album by the American jazz band The Crusaders. It was a top 20 album on three ''Billboard'' charts and represents the peak of the band's commercial popularity. The title track, featuring singer Randy Crawford, was a Top 40 pop single (No. 36) and became the group's most successful entry on the soul chart (No. 17). It was No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart. "Street Life" also hit the disco chart, peaking at No. 75, and was re-recorded by Doc Severinsen with Crawford reprising her vocal for the opening sequence of the noir crime drama ''Sharky's Machine'', directed by Burt Reynolds in 1981. This faster paced version was also featured in Quentin Tarantino's ''Jackie Brown'', released in 1997. The cover photograph was taken at 409 N Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, California. ''Streetlife'' is the debut album by Australian rock group, Geeza. It was released in mid-1977 by Laser Records / RCA Records and was produced by Mario Millo. The first single, 'Run 'n' Hide', peaked at number 56 on the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart, while the second single, 'Song to Warilla', failed to chart. Background Geeza was formed in Sydney's western suburbs in late 1973. Their cabaret-style theatrical performances included exploding phone boxes and other extravagant props that were used to win over audiences across Sydney. By September 1975, the band consisted of Gabriel Vendetti on guitar; Lee Martin (aka Martin Adamson) on bass guitar and backing vocals; Allan Fraiel on drums and backing vocals; and Terry Halliday (aka Terry Meaney) on lead vocals. The group started playing some songs in drag, which then led to the writing of the track "Dragon Queen" by Adamson, Venditti, Fraiel and Meaney. Written by lead singer Bryan Ferry, the song is an ode to modern life that features sound effects of street noise along side dissonant synth noises courtesy of newly recruited member Eddie Jobson. ''A New Morning'' is the fifth studio album by English alternative rock band Suede, released in September 2002. By the time the album was released, public interest in the band had waned, as shown by the poor charting of both the album and singles. Despite this, however, the album received moderate praise from critics. It is the only Suede album not to be released in the US. It was the last studio album released by the band before their seven-year hiatus and reunion in 2010. Before recording took place, keyboardist and guitarist Neil Codling left the band due to his health concern, and later was replaced by former Strangelove guitarist, Alex Lee. ''Screen Two'' was a British television anthology drama series, produced by the BBC and transmitted on BBC2 from 1985 to 1998 (not to be confused with a run of films shown on BBC2 under the billing ''Screen 2'' between April 1977 and March 1978). Following the demise of the BBC's ''Play for Today'', which ran from 1970 to 1984, producer Kenith Trodd was asked to formulate a new series of one-off television dramas. However, while ''Play for Today''s style had been a largely studio-based form of theatre on television, the new series was shot entirely on film. This was an attempt by the BBC to repeat the success of Channel 4's television films, many of which had been released in cinemas.
