This is a list of characters in the ''Transformers'' Generation 1 comics series. Non-Transformer characters A * Aunty - The Autobots computer on board the Ark. B * Walter Barnett - US government official and friend of the Autobots. Originally suspicious of the Autobots, Barnett became convinced they were friendly after seeing they chose not to fight back when attacked by humans. Barnett saved the lives of the Throttlebots by transferring their "brains" to toy cars before their bodies were destroyed. * Berko - Originally a homeless man, abducted into the Cosmic Carnival. Eventually becomes the Cosmic Carnival's ringmaster. * B'ghdad - Crime lord. He appears in a Matrix Quest story based on the film '' The Maltese Falcon''. * Big Top - Owner of the Cosmic Carnival. * G. B. Blackrock - Millionaire and friend of the Autobots. Transformers (comics)
There have been three main publishers of the comic book series bearing the name ''Transformers'' based on the Transformers (toy line), toy lines of the same name. The first series was produced by Marvel Comics from 1984 to 1991, which ran for 80 issues and produced four Spin-off (media), spin-off miniseries. This was followed by a second volume titled ''Transformers: Generation 2'', which ran for 12 issues starting in 1993. The second major series was produced by Dreamwave Productions from 2002 to 2004 with multiple limited series as well, and within multiple story continuities, until the company became bankrupt in 2005. The third and fourth series have been published by IDW Publishing with the third series starting with an issue #0 in October 2005 and a regular series starting in January 2006 to November 2018. Scorponok
Scorponok is a major antagonist whose name is shared by several fictional characters throughout the various Transformers, Transformers universes. Characters with this name are usually Decepticons or Predacons that turn into robotic scorpions or have scorpion-shaped robot modes. Some versions of the character are also known as Megazarak or Black Zarak in Japan. Transformers: Generation 1 Leader of the Decepticon Headmaster (Transformers), Headmasters, Scorponok is binary-bonded to Lord Zarak, the leader of an evil faction of Nebulons, and wields an anti-gravity gun in robot mode. A Triple Changer, Scorponok's primary alternate mode is that of a giant scorpion, with claws that can crush mountains and a tail that fires deadly electric blasts.
