''Stranger Heads Prevail'' is the second album by progressive rock band Thank You Scientist Thank You Scientist is an American progressive rock band from Montclair, New Jersey. Their debut studio album ''Maps of Non-Existent Places'' was named the "'' Revolver Album of the Week"''" in October 2014. Their second album '' Stranger Heads .... It was released on July 29, 2016. It is the first album to feature Cody McCorry on bass and theremin and the final album to feature Odin Alvarez, Andrew Digrius, and Ellis Jasenovic on drums, trumpet, and saxophone, respectively, prior to their departure in 2017. Thank You Scientist is an American progressive rock band from Montclair, New Jersey. Their debut studio album ''Maps of Non-Existent Places'' was named the "'' Revolver Album of the Week"''" in October 2014. Their second album '' Stranger Heads Prevail'' was released in July 2016. Their third album ''Terraformer'' was released in June 2019. History Thank You Scientist was formed at the New Jersey Montclair State University's music program, when guitar player Tom Monda met saxophonist Ellis Jasenovic and trumpet player Andrew Digrius. Their musical taste for Frank Zappa, Harry Nilsson, the Beatles and Mahavishnu Orchestra would later become an influence and a seed for Thank You Scientist. In 2009 vocalist Salvatore Marrano (former vocalist of New Jersey rock band "Hello Eden"), bass player Greg Colacino, drummer Odin Alvarez and violin player Russ Lynch joined the band, which became the original lineup for Thank You Scientist. Evil Ink Comics is a comic publishing company set up by Claudio Sanchez, the lead singer of progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Currently Evil Ink is co-publisher to three graphic series; The Amory Wars, Kill Audio and Key of Z. In 2009, Evil Ink released its first prose novel, Year of the Black Rainbow. Each part of The Amory Wars series features the same title as its respective Coheed and Cambria album, as each album tells different parts of the said story. Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal
Ronald Jay Blumenthal (born September 25, 1969), better known by his stage name Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal or just simply as Bumblefoot, is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He adopted his nickname from the bacterial infection of the same name, which he learned about while helping his wife study for her veterinary exams. The name went from being just the name of an album, to the name of a record label, to a band name, to eventually his name as a solo artist. He was one of two lead guitarists in Guns N' Roses from 2006 until 2014 and performed on their sixth studio album '' Chinese Democracy''. He is currently the guitarist for the supergroup Sons of Apollo and served as the guitarist and vocalist for the band Asia from 2019 to 2022.
