Errol Taggart
Errol Taggart (July 15, 1895 – August 30, 1940) was a Canadian film director and film editor who worked in Hollywood during the 1920s and 1930s. He was the editor of four movies directed by Tod Browning and starring Lon Chaney: '' The Unknown'' (uncredited) with Joan Crawford, '' The Road to Mandalay'', ''The Blackbird'', and the lost film '' London After Midnight'' (uncredited). He also edited Browning's film '' Drifting'' featuring Wallace Beery and Anna May Wong in supporting roles, and was Browning's first assistant director on ''Freaks'' (uncredited) featuring Olga Baclanova and a cast of actual carnival sideshow freaks. Taggart also directed seven films, including ''Sinner Take All'', '' Song of the City'', and ''The Women Men Marry''. Joe King ( – ) was an American actor of silent films and talkies as well as a director and writer. Biography King was born in Austin, Texas as Joseph Sayer King and acted in 211 films from 1912 to 1946. He appeared in his later years mainly in minor, uncredited roles. He directed two films, both in 1916 and wrote one script in 1915. Joe King was married to actress Hazel Buckham and he died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. Eddie "Rochester" Anderson
Edmund Lincoln Anderson (September 18, 1905 – February 28, 1977) was an American comedian and actor. To a generation of early radio and television comedy he was known as "Rochester". Anderson entered show business as a teenager on the vaudeville circuit. In the early 1930s, he transitioned into films and radio. In 1937, he began his role of Rochester van Jones, usually known simply as "Rochester", the valet of Jack Benny, on his NBC radio show ''The Jack Benny Program''. Anderson became the first African American to have a regular role on a nationwide radio program. When the series moved to CBS television in 1950, Anderson continued in the role until the series ended in 1965. After the series ended, Anderson remained active with guest starring roles on television and voice work in animated series. Frances Robinson (born Marion Frances Ladd; April 26, 1916 – August 16, 1971) was an American actress. Early life Robinson was born Marion Frances Ladd in the Fort Wadsworth section of Staten Island, New York, on April 26, 1916. Her father was U. S. Army Major James A. Ladd. At age 5, Robinson portrayed Little Henrietta in the silent film ''Orphans of the Storm'' (1921). Before acting in films as an adult, she was a model for the agency operated by John Robert Powers. Frank Garnier Jaquet (March 16, 1885 – May 11, 1958) was an American actor known for playing supporting roles with his career extended from 1934 to the mid-1950s. Biography In 1925, Jaquet was part of the Summer stock cast at the Elitch Theatre. In 1934, at age forty-nine, Jaquet made his film debut in the short ''War Is a Racket''. Over the next twenty years, he appeared in over one hundred and forty films and TV episodes. Jaquet died on May 11, 1958 in Los Angeles of a heart attack at the age of 73. Renie Isabel Riano (August 7, 1899 – July 3, 1971) was an English-born American actress who, with the exception of the Jiggs and Maggie comedies, had minor roles in 1940s and 1950s films. She was sometimes credited as Reine Riano, Renee Riano, or Rene Riano. Biography Riano's parents were Robert and Irene Riano of vaudeville's popular Four Rianos acrobatic act, an eccentric acrobat act which toured the world in vaudeville, variety and music halls. In 1918, she married an American, John W. Neil in New Jersey and, thereby became an American citizen. Their daughter, Jane, was born in Philadelphia in 1919.
