Stradivarius (record Label)
Stradivarius Records, Italian Casa Discografica Stradivarius (founded 1988) is a Milan based independent Italian record label specializing in early music and contemporary classical music. The record label was originally based from a shop in the Via Stradivari, but the shop is now located in the Via Sormani, Cologno Monzese. The label has collaborated with the Milan Conservatory in production of its recordings. Modern composers The label's ''Times Future'' series publishes many modern, predominantly living, Italian composers, among them Franco Donatoni, Salvatore Sciarrino, Bruno Maderna, Goffredo Petrassi, Andrea Molino, Ivan Fedele, Slovenian Marij Kogoj, Luis De Pablo, and others. Enrico Pompili (born 1968 in Bolzano) is an Italian pianist. A native of Bolzano, he won several Italian national competitions before being prized at the Dublin International Piano Competition. Eduardo Egüez
Eduardo Egüez (born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1959) is a lutenist, theorbist, and guitarist acclaimed for his interpretations of music by J.S.Bach. Egüez began by first studying guitar with Miguel Angel Girollet and Eduardo Fernández (guitarist), Eduardo Fernández. He then studied composition at the Catholic Argentine University. In 1995 he obtained his diploma in lute performance from the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis under the tutelage of Hopkinson Smith. The Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France is a French radio orchestra, affiliated with Radio France. The orchestra performs principally at the auditorium of the Maison de la Radio in Paris, along with several concerts at the Philharmonie de Paris. History ''Radiodiffusion Française'' established the orchestra in Paris in June 1937 under the name of the ''Orchestre Radio-Symphonique'', under the auspices of ''Les Postes, Télégraphes et Téléphones'' (PTT) and its minister, Robert Jardillier. Arturo Tamayo Ballesteros (born 3 August 1946) is a Spanish conductor and music teacher. Life Tamayo studied music at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, while studying Law at the Complutense University of Madrid. Josep Pons (born Josep Pons i Viladomat; 1957) is a Spanish conductor. Biography Pons was born in Puig-reig, Berguedà. He received his musical training at L'Escolania de Montserrat and continued his musical studies in Barcelona with such teachers as Josep Soler i Sardà (composition) and Antoni Ros-Marbà (conducting). In 1985, Pons founded the ''Orquestra de Cambra Teatre Lliure'' (Chamber Orchestra of the Teatre Lliure). He directed the Coral Càrmina from 1988 to 1990. Oscar Alberto Ghiglia (born 13 August 1938) is an Italian classical guitarist. Biography Early years Born in Livorno to an artistic family – his father and grandfather were both famed painters, his mother an accomplished pianist – Oscar Ghiglia had to choose between a path strewn with brushes and colours and a world cut into harmony and melody. Though his early choice produced a few hundred water colours and a number of oil paintings, he soon realized music was his way. For this decision he thanks his father, who one day made him pose for a painting showing a guitarist.
