''Stop That Cab'' is a 1951 American comedy film directed by Eugenio de Liguoro and starring Sid Melton, Iris Adrian and Marjorie Lord. Synopsis The trials and tribulations of a cab driver working the night shift, who must put with an assortment of crazies, hard cases and sob stories during work and then has to come home to a loud, argumentative, shrewish wife. Eugenio De Liguoro
Eugenio de Liguoro (March 15, 1899 – June 30, 1952) was an Italian actor and film director. He was the son of Giuseppe de Liguoro, and acted in several of his films during the 1910s as well as some in the United States. He increasingly moved behind the camera, and directed the 1933 Italian comedy '' Country Air''.Moliterno p.186 His career later took him to India and Chile. His final film was the American ''Stop That Cab'', made for Lippert Pictures. He died suddenly in Los Angeles after making the film. The director Wladimiro De Liguoro was his brother. Minerva Urecal (born Florence Minerva Dunnuck; September 22, 1894 – February 26, 1966) was an American stage and radio performer as well as a character actress in Hollywood films and on various television series from the early 1950s to 1965.Scheuer, Steven H.
