Nu Virgos
VIA Gra ( uk, ВИА Гра), known outside of Ukraine and other nearby countries as Nu Virgos, is a Ukrainian girl group. The name VIA Gra is a triple wordplay; it is an allusion to the drug Viagra, the first three letters "ВИА" ("VIA") also stand for " vocal-instrumental ensemble" in Ukrainian, and "Гра" ("hra") means "game" or "play" in Ukrainian, and is also a kind of signature of the surnames of the two first girls of the group, VI-nnytsk-A and GR-anovsk-A, the originally used maiden name of Nadia Meiher. Nu Virgos rose to prominence when they hit the charts in Ukraine and Russia in September 2000, with their first single "''Popytka No. 5''" ("Attempt No. 5"). Anna Vladimirovna Sedokova ( uk, А́нна Володи́мирівна Сєдоко́ва; russian: А́нна Влади́мировна Седоко́ва, born 16 December 1982) is a Ukrainian singer, actress and television presenter. Sedokova came to prominence in 2002 as a member of pop girl group Nu Virgos, known in the CIS countries as VIA Gra and in which she was nicknamed Anya (Ukrainian; Russian: Аня). Following two years in the "golden line-up" of the group, she pursued a solo music career in 2006. The singer released a string of singles until her debut album, ''Lichnoe'', was released in 2016 to commercial success, peaking at number two in Russia.
