Stolojan Cabinet
The Stolojan Cabinet was the Cabinet of the Government of Romania between 16 October 1991 and 19 November 1992. It was the fourth post-communist cabinet. The Prime Minister was Theodor Stolojan, a former financial bureaucrat during communism (previously responsible with the foreign currency as well as the money of the Securitatea, according to former Romanian President Emil Constantinescu). Stolojan was an independent minister of finance in the Roman cabinet, dominated by the FSN. The Stolojan Cabinet was a transition cabinet, in charge with organizing the elections, and included FSN members and members from other parties national liberals, ecologists, agrarians, and independents. Theodor Stolojan
Theodor Dumitru Stolojan (; born 24 October 1943) is a Romanian politician who was Prime Minister of Romania from September 1991 to November 1992. An economist by training, he was also one of the presidents of the National Liberal Party (PNL) before being the founding leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLD) and then the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL). He was a Member of the European Parliament for Romania, representing the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) and then the National Liberal Party (PNL; both EPP-ED-affiliated). The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania ( ro, Ministerul Afacerilor Interne) is one of the eighteen ministries of the Government of Romania. Victor Babiuc
Victor Babiuc (; 3 April 1938 – 25 February 2023) was a Romanian jurist and politician. A former member of the Democratic Party (PD), and of the National Liberal Party (PNL), he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Bucharest in 1990 and from 1992 to 1996, and for Brașov County from 1996 to 2004. Adrian Năstase
Adrian Năstase (; born 22 June 1950) is a Romanian jurist, academic/professor, blogger, and former politician who served as the Prime Minister of Romania from October 2000 to December 2004. He competed in the 2004 presidential election as the Social Democratic Party (PSD) candidate, but was defeated by the centre-right Justice and Truth Alliance (DA) candidate Traian Băsescu who pertained at that time to the Democratic Party (PD). He was the President of the Chamber of Deputies from 21 December 2004 until 15 March 2006, when he resigned due to corruption charges. Sentenced to two years in prison in July 2012, he attempted suicide before beginning his term in the penitentiary. Released in March 2013, he was sentenced to four years in another case in January 2014, but released that August.
