Stockholm Syndrome was a female pop group and later duo from Sweden, formed in 2010 under the name Love Generation. The people behind the group are Moroccan hit producer RedOne, Moroccan-Swedish producer Jonas "Lawrnz" Johnson and Peter Swartling, label Legend Music Group and Universal Music. History 2010 Through an audition with over 500 contestants, five girls got picked to form Love Generation. The making of their first self-titled single started the same day as the auditions were finished. 2011 Love Generation participated with "Dance Alone" in Melodifestivalen 2011, which selects the Swedish entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest. They placed 3rd in the fourth heat, therefore advancing to the Second Chance round. Melodifestivalen 2011 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2011. It selected Sweden's 51st song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 50th edition of Melodifestivalen. Eric Saade, with the song "Popular", won the contest and thus was selected to represent Sweden in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Format The 2011 edition of Melodifestivalen was similar to the previous year's arrangement, with four heats, a second-chance round and a grand final. The four heats were held in Luleå (5 February), Gothenburg (12 February), Linköping (19 February) and Malmö (26 February). The second chance round was held in Sundsvall on 5 March and the final in Stockholm was held on 12 March. SVT presented the competing songs during autumn 2010. The Poodles
The Poodles were a glam metal/ heavy metal band from Sweden, formed by singer Jakob Samuel (a.k.a. Jake Samuels), bassist Pontus Egberg, guitarist Pontus Norgren and drummer Christian Lundqvist. Their songs include "Metal Will Stand Tall" and "Night of Passion", the latter of which was performed in 2006 in Melodifestivalen, the annual music competition to decide the Swedish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. Alexander Urbom (born December 20, 1990) is a professional Swedish ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with EC Red Bull Salzburg of the ICE Hockey League (ICEHL). Playing career Urbom was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the third round, 73rd overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft. He previously played for Djurgårdens IF in Elitserien and Brandon Wheat Kings in the WHL. He scored his first NHL goal on April 10, 2011, against Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins.
