Stipe Modrić
Stipe Modrić (; born May 8, 1979) is a Slovenian professional basketball coach who is the assistant coach for Ilirija of the Slovenian Second League. Born in Sinj to a Croat father, Modrić played at the position of forward and power forward. During his career, he had played for Alkar, Union Olimpija, Ludwigsburg, Geoplin Slovan, Cedevita, Anwil Włocławek and Astrum Levice. On December 11, 2012, he returned to Geoplin Slovan. Modrić won the 2000–01 and 2001–02 Slovenian national championship with Olimpija. He also won the 2000, 2001 and 2002 Slovenian national cup with Olimpija, and won the 2001–02 ABA Goodyear League 12 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro and Slovenia participated in Goodyear League in its first season: Union Olimpija, Krka, Pivovarna Laško, Geoplin Slovan, Cibona VIP, Zadar, Triglav Osiguranje, Split Croatia Osig ... with the same team. Luka Modrić
Luka Modrić (; born 9 September 1985) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for La Liga club Real Madrid and captains the Croatia national team. He plays mainly as a central midfielder, but can also play as an attacking midfielder or as a defensive midfielder. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, and as the greatest ever Croatian footballer. Born in Zadar, Modrić's childhood coincided with the Croatian War of Independence which displaced his family. In 2002, he was signed by Dinamo Zagreb at age 16, after showing promise with his hometown club NK Zadar's youth team. The Slovenia men's national basketball team ( sl, Slovenska košarkarska reprezentanca) represents Slovenia in international basketball competitions, and is managed by the Basketball Federation of Slovenia. The Premier A Slovenian Basketball League ( sl, 1. slovenska košarkarska liga), abbreviated as 1. SKL and known as the Liga Nova KBM due to sponsorship reasons, is the top-level professional men's basketball league in Slovenia. The Basketball Federation of Slovenia ( sl, Košarkarska zveza Slovenije) also known as KZS is the governing body of basketball in Slovenia. It was founded in 1950 as a member of the larger Yugoslav Basketball Federation (see also: Basketball in Yugoslavia). In 1992, KZS joined the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) on its own. The Basketball Federation of Slovenia operates the Slovenia men's national team and Slovenia women's national team.
