''Stinkfist'' is a collaborative EP by Clint Ruin (a.k.a. J. G. Thirlwell) and Lydia Lunch. This outing from the ex- Immaculate Consumptive bandmates was originally released as a 12" in 1987 on Lunch's Widowspeak label. Content The album cover shows Lunch and Ruin—lovers at the time—in a coital embrace. Release ''Stinkfist'' was released in 1987 by record label Widowspeak. A 1989 CD version added "The Crumb", a single by Lunch and Sonic Youth leader Thurston Moore. Cliff Martinez (born February 5, 1954) is an American musician and composer. Early in his career, Martinez was known as a drummer notably with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Captain Beefheart. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. In music, a loop is a repeating section of sound material. Short sections can be repeated to create ostinato patterns. Longer sections can also be repeated: for example, a player might loop what they play on an entire verse of a song in order to then play along with it, accompanying themselves. Guitar
