Stillwater High School (New York)
Stillwater Central School District is a school located in the village of Stillwater, New York. The school has two buildings on its campus; one is for elementary grades and the other holds the middle and high school classes. The school serves Stillwater and portions of the towns of Saratoga and Easton. Student life The school mascot is the Warriors and the colors are maroon and white, although black has been used on some older uniforms. Recently, a new football/soccer field with lights replaced the old. The field has a turf surface and was built over the old baseball field. The new baseball field was moved to the American Legion in the middle of the village. Along with that, a new gymnasium has been built to better serve the school. Stillwater (village), New York
Stillwater is a village in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,738 at the 2010 census. There is a hamlet in Minerva, Essex County with the same name, which has nothing to do with this village. The Village of Stillwater is in the southeastern part of the Town of Stillwater, north of the City of Mechanicville. History Fort Ingoldsby was constructed in 1709, on the orders of Peter Schuyler, to protect the site of the future village. The village was incorporated in 1816. Stillwater is the current historical site of "The Blockhouse", since it has been moved from Saratoga battle field. Stillwater has other sites, such as the Octagon house and the twin houses built in the late 19th century. Scott Leonard Sicko (born January 30, 1988) is a former American football tight end. He was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at New Hampshire. Early years Sicko played his first two years of football at Stillwater High School in his hometown. He then transferred to La Salle Institute in Troy, New York. Key Club International, also called Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students. As a student-led organization, Key Club's goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. Link Crew is a North American student leadership program. Its focus is on making select individuals from the Junior and Senior classes, known as "Link Leaders," into mentors for freshmen and new students.
