''Still Winning'' is the sixth studio album by American R&B singer Johnny Gill. It was released on October 11, 2011, through independent imprint Notifi Records. Gill's first album of solo material since 1996's ''Let's Get the Mood Right'', it peaked at number 17 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and number 4 on the ''Billboard'' R&B chart. Three singles were released from the album: "In the Mood", "It Would Be You" and "Just the Way You Are". In addition to original songs, the album closes with a cover of the Paul McCartney and Wings song " My Love." Critical reception The album received mixed to negative reviews from critics. Johnny Gill Jr. (born May 22, 1966) is an American singer and actor. He is the sixth and final member of the R&B/ pop group New Edition and was also a member of the supergroup called LSG, with Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat. Gill has released eight solo albums, three albums with New Edition, two albums with LSG, and one collaborative album with Stacy Lattisaw. Gill has sold over 15 million copies worldwide as a solo artist. Linda Louise McCartney, Lady McCartney ( Eastman; September 24, 1941 – April 17, 1998) was an American photographer, musician, animal rights activist, vegetarian cookbook author and advocate, and entrepreneur. Stephen Ellis Garrett (November 11, 1974 – February 25, 2008), known professionally as Static Major (and previously as Static), was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer from Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the R&B trio Playa. He was also a songwriter for several artists, including Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Pretty Ricky, and Destiny's Child. Edward Willis Levert (born June 16, 1942) is an American singer, best known as the lead vocalist of The O'Jays. He is the father of Gerald Levert (1966–2006) and Sean Levert (1968–2008) Biography Levert was born in Bessemer, Alabama, but was raised in Canton, Ohio, where he moved at the age of six.
