Still Waiting (Prince Song)
"Still Waiting" was the third US single from Prince's second album, ''Prince''. It was Prince's first ballad to be released as a single and was mildly popular on the R&B chart, reaching #65. The ballad speaks from the perspective of a young man who hasn't yet found love but yearns for it. The track is mainly piano, acoustic guitar and synth-based and was often played live with extended instrumental solos and audience teasing. The song is a more traditional R&B ballad, before Prince established himself with trademark sexual romps like "Do Me, Baby" and "International Lover". The song was remade by Rainy Davis in 1987 and appeared on her album ''Sweetheart''. Her version was also released as a single and charted higher than Prince's version on the R&B chart, reaching #41. British female duo Dorothy covered the song in 1988, peaking at #81 on the UK Singles Chart. Bambi The B-side of the song was the album track rocker, "Bambi". "Still Waiting" is a song by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It was released in November 2002 as the lead single from the album ''Does This Look Infected?''. Song meaning The song is an anti-George W. Bush and anti-Iraq War song. Music video The video, directed by Marc Klasfeld, starts with the band members entering the office of a record executive (played by Will Sasso). He says the "number band thing" is "out" and changes the band's name to "The Sums" and the members' individual names (Deryck is "Sven", Cone is "Thurston", Dave is "Holmes", and Stevo is "Sergio"). The band then plays the song on a set spoofing The Hives, The Strokes, and The Vines and includes various images of arcade games. At the start of the last chorus, Deryck breaks the choreography and starts trashing his equipment and Dave, Cone, and Stevo do the same thing. The video ends with the four band members pushing down The Sums' name behind them. Apart from the introduction, the performance was recorded at 30 fra ...

The Wave (album)
''The Wave'' is the debut solo studio album by the English singer-songwriter Tom Chaplin. The album was released on 14 October 2016 by Island Records. Background It is Chaplin's first solo album since Keane announced their hiatus in 2013, and Chaplin has called the process of recording a solo album a "daunting prospect for someone who knows nothing else". After the band members began new projects, Chaplin began using drugs due to anxiety over the album and "thought ewas going to die" in early 2015: "When I finally liberated myself from years of spiraling addiction, a place of inspiration and creativity became available to me. I set about writing an album that documents my transition from the darkest recesses of human experience to a place of resolution, fulfillment and happiness. At long last I am comfortable in my own skin and have achieved that elusive dream of writing a set of songs I can truly call my own." Tour On 5 September 2016, Chaplin announced his first solo tour ...
