''Still Run'' is the second studio album by American band Wet. It was released on July 13, 2018 by Columbia Records. It was announced on May 11, 2018, with the release of the third single off the album, "Lately". The first single off the album, "There's a Reason" was released on March 9, 2018. The same day, a US tour with Inc. No World was announced. The album was supported by four singles, "There's a Reason", "Softens", "Lately", and "You're Not Wrong". It is the band's first album without founding member Marty Sulkow, who left the band one year earlier due to "tensions mounted over artistic direction". Wet (band)
Wet is an American indie pop group from Brooklyn, New York. The band's first two albums—the 2013 self-titled EP and 2016 '' Don't You''—are credited to Kelly Zutrau, Joe Valle, and Marty Sulkow. In March 2018, Wet released a single, "There's a Reason", as a duo of Zutrau and Valle. Signed to Columbia Records, Wet was named the most promising group in music by ''The Fader'' in 2015. History Members Kelly Zutrau, Joe Valle, and Marty Sulkow met in New York through mutual friends while Sulkow and Valle were attending New York University and Zutrau was a student at Cooper Union. Sulkow and Zutrau formed a band called Beauty Feast in 2007. It grew to seven members but eventually dissolved. Zutrau went on to the Rhode Island School of Design, but continued to write music. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Margaret went to Oberlin College & Conservatory and Skidmore College and was also a pilot. Carl and Margaret met on a train while going to a choral workshop. Ted has one brother, Rick, and two daughters, Kristen and Kim. While attending High School, Jensen was building his own stereo and recording equipment and began recording local bands both in the studio and at live events. Tom Elmhirst (born 8 June 1971) is a British mix engineer. He has worked with artists including Adele, Beck, David Bowie, Cage the Elephant, Lady Gaga, Residente, and Amy Winehouse, among many others. Elmhirst has received numerous accolades and nominations. He has won sixteen Grammy Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Music Producers Guild Awards for Mix Engineer of the Year. MGMT () is an American indie rock band formed in 2002 in Middletown, Connecticut. It was founded by multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser. Alongside VanWyngarden and Goldwasser, MGMT's live lineup currently consists of drummer Will Berman, bassist Simon O'Connor, and guitarist and keyboard James Richardson. Originally signed to Cantora Records by the nascent label's co-founder, NYU undergrad Will Griggs, MGMT later signed with Columbia and RED Ink in 2006 and released their debut album '' Oracular Spectacular'' the next year.
