Still Not Quite Human
''Still Not Quite Human'' is a 1992 television film written and directed by Eric Luke and starring Jay Underwood and Alan Thicke. It is the third and final film in a series based on the '' Not Quite Human'' novels by Seth McEvoy. The story, which has a darker tone than the previous films, features the human-looking android, Chip, embarking on a mission to rescue his father, who has been kidnapped by a ruthless tycoon in order to acquire his knowledge of android technology. Robyn Lively does not return to reprise her role as Becky, but she is mentioned to have taken a job in another state. Plot Dr. Jonas Carson (Alan Thicke) goes to a robotics convention with Chip and an inferior model to test whether or not the world is ready for the idea of living with androids as he does with Chip. Eric Luke
Eric Luke (born October 31, 1962 in Salem, Massachusetts) is an American writer. Career Film Eric Luke began his career in film writing. Previous film work included: ''Explorers'' for Paramount Pictures, numerous screenplays for MGM and others, and also wrote and directed the latter two films in the '' Not Quite Human'' trilogy for the Disney Channel. Television Moving to television, he eventually wrote scripts for the ''Tales from the Cryptkeeper'' series and co-plotted the '' Gargoyles'' pilot five-parter for The Walt Disney Company. He returned to television to Executive Produce, Story Edit and script the Fox Kids TV animated series '' Xyber 9'', which later aired on the Toon Disney channel. He would later write scripts for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003). Rosa Langschwadt Nevin
Rosa Langschwadt Nevin (born June 14, 1962 in Cuba) is an American actress, who was best known for playing the character of Cecily Davidson on the soap opera ''All My Children''. She first appeared on the soap in 1986 and departed on January 11, 1990, only to return in 1994 for another stint, this one lasting two more years. Langschwadt Nevin was born in Cuba to a Spanish mother and German father and grew up in Spain, New York and Miami. She became interested in a career in entertainment while singing in her high school chorus. She attended the University of Miami where she received a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Afterwards, she began acting in several Florida-based theaters including Coconut Grove Playhouse. She has appeared in six music videos for bands such as Oingo Boingo.
