Stichtsche Cricket en Hockey Club, commonly known as SCHC, is a Dutch sports club based in Bilthoven, Utrecht. The club was founded on 22 November 1906. The club is best known for its field hockey department but it also has a rugby union and a cricket section. The first men's hockey team played in de the second division until the 2020–21 season called the Promotieklasse after being relegated in the 2018–19 season. While the women's team has played on the highest level since 2004. Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey
The Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, currently known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, is the men's top division of field hockey in the Netherlands. The league ranks third in the European league ranking table. The league was established in 1973, and before the league existed the champions of the several district played in a championship pool to determine the national champion. Bloemendaal are the current champions, having won the 2021–22 season by defeating Pinoké in the championship final. Bloemendaal has the most titles with 22 followed by Amsterdam with 21. Format The season starts in August or September of each year and is interrupted by the indoor hockey season from November to February. From March the outdoor season will be continued. Roderick Weusthof (born 18 May 1982 in Nijmegen) is a field hockey player from the Netherlands. Weusthof was part of the Dutch national team for the 2004 Champions Trophy in Lahore where the Dutch won the silver medal. Thierry Brinkman (born 19 March 1995) is a Dutch field hockey player who plays as a forward or midfielder for Bloemendaal and the Dutch national team. He is the son of former Dutch international Jacques Brinkman and the brother of Tim Brinkman, a Dutch football player.
