Stewart Township is a geographic township in the Unorganized North Part of Nipissing District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. The Ontario Northland Railway, constructed in the early 20th century, runs from south to north through the township, and the dispersed rural community of Tomiko with two passing sidings is on the railway in the centre-east. Lakes that are all or in part in Stewart Township include Brûlé Lake, Ferguson Lake, Little Rock Lake, Little Tomiko Lake, Moose Lake, Notman Lake, and Sturgeon Lake. Kidder County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,394. Its county seat is Steele. History The Dakota Territory legislature created the county on January 4, 1873, with areas partitioned from Buffalo County. The county government was not organized at that time, nor was the area attached to another county for administrative or judicial purposes. It was named for Jefferson Parrish Kidder, a delegate to the United States Congress from Dakota Territory (1875–1879) and associate justice of the territorial supreme court (1865-1875, 1879-1883). The county government was effected on March 22, 1881. The county boundaries were altered on 1879 with territory partitioned to Burleigh, and in 1885 with territory partitioned from Burleigh County. Stewart Township is a township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The population was 619 at the 2020 census. Stonerville and Kaufmann are the only villages in this very rural township, which is served by the Uniontown Area School District. Two U.S.National Historic Landmarks are in Stewart Township. They are Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Both were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and are available for touring. Geography Stewart Township is on the eastern side of Fayette County, bordered to the east by Somerset County. The borough of Ohiopyle is at the center of the township but is a separate municipality. The Youghiogheny River flows through the township from southeast to north. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and , or 0.93%, is water. Tripp County is a county in the U.S. state of South Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,624. Its county seat is Winner. The county was created in 1873, and was organized in 1909. It is named for lawyer, judge, and diplomat Bartlett Tripp. Geography Tripp County lies on the south line of South Dakota. Its south boundary is the Nebraska state line, while its north boundary is the meandering White River. The Keya Paha River flows east-southeasterly through the lower part of the county. The county terrain is composed of rolling hills carved by gullies and drainages. The county terrain generally slopes to the south and east, although its upper portion drops northward into the White River valley.
