Stevens High School (New Hampshire)
Stevens High School is the only public high school in Claremont, New Hampshire, Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. It is in the center of the city on the corner of Broad and Summer streets. It was founded in 1868, the result of a United States dollar, $20,000 donation by Paran Stevens to Claremont with the proviso that the city appropriate a like sum. In the early 1990s, the school gained status as the host to one of the earlier Apple Macintosh user groups, primarily attended by high school faculty. Stevens High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as well as the State of New Hampshire Department of Education. Stevens High School, also known as Girls High School and Stevens Elementary School, is an historic, former American high school building located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. History and architectural features Designed by noted Lancaster architect C. Emlen Urban and built between 1904 and 1905, this historic structure is a three-story, rectangular brick and brownstone building that was created in the Renaissance Revival architecture, Second Renaissance Revival style. Stevens High School is one of three public high schools in Rapid City, South Dakota, United States. The school opened in November 1969, and has an enrollment of approximately 1600 students. The school is situated in the foothills of South Dakota's Black Hills on the city's western outskirts. The school colors are blue and silver, and the school teams and organizations are known as the "Raiders". History Stevens High School opened in 1969, the second public high school in Rapid City. Located on the west side of town, it was constructed to accommodate the growing student population. The new school was occupied following Thanksgiving in 1969. Stevens High Schools was named for Paul C. Stevens, a Superintendent of the Rapid City Public Schools for fourteen years. John Paul Stevens High School
John Paul Stevens High School is one of nineteen public high schools in the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The campus is located near SeaWorld San Antonio. As with all Northside ISD schools, the school is named for a United States Supreme Court justice, in this case John Paul Stevens, who attended the school's dedication in 2005. In 2017, the school was rated "Texas Education Agency accountability ratings system, Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. As of Fall 2017, the enrollment at Stevens is capped at 3,000, and middle schools that would normally feed into Stevens now feed into Earl Warren High School and William Howard Taft High School (San Antonio), William Howard Taft High School (areas outside of Loop 1604 off Potranco and Military Roads).
