Steven Knox
Steven Thomas Knox (born 16 February 1974) is an English cricket coach and former player. He played for the Scotland national cricket team from 2003 to 2007 after meeting residency qualifications, and also played minor counties cricket for Cumberland. He has coached the Scotland women's national cricket team and the Germany men's national cricket team. Personal life Knox was born on 16 February 1974 in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, England. Playing career Domestic career A right-handed opening batsman, Knox played for Cumberland County Cricket Club in the Minor Counties Championship between 1994 and 2009. He also played several List A matches for Cumberland, notably scoring 108 not out in a victory against Nottinghamshire Cricket Board in the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. Barrow-in-Furness
Barrow-in-Furness is a port town in Cumbria, England. Historically in Lancashire, it was incorporated as a municipal borough in 1867 and merged with Dalton-in-Furness Urban District in 1974 to form the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness. In 2023 the borough will merge with Eden and South Lakeland districts to form a new unitary authority; Westmorland and Furness. At the tip of the Furness peninsula, close to the Lake District, it is bordered by Morecambe Bay, the Duddon Estuary and the Irish Sea. Netherlands National Cricket Team
The Netherlands national cricket team (Dutch: Nederlandse cricket team) is the men's team that represents the Kingdom of the Netherlands and is administered by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association. Kari Carswell
Kari Carswell also known as Kari Anderson (born 21 October 1982) is a former Scottish cricketer and coach who was the former captain of the Scotland women's national cricket team. She had established a playing and coaching career with Scotland women's cricket team spanning for over two decades. She has received 152 caps in her professional career representing Scotland for 17 years. She also holds the unique distinction of being part of Scotland women's first international cricket match, as well as serving as coach as well as captain of the Scotland women's cricket team simultaneously at the same time. The 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A was a cricket tournament that took place in February 2022 in Oman, as one of two global tournaments that together form the final stage of the qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The sub regional tournaments were scheduled to take place in June and July 2021 in Finland and Belgium, with the regional final taking place in October 2021 in Spain. Net run rate (NRR) is a statistical method used in analysing teamwork and/or performance in cricket. It is the most commonly used method of ranking teams with equal points in limited overs league competitions, similar to goal difference in football. The NRR in a single game is the average runs per over that team scores, minus the average runs per over that is scored against them. The NRR in a tournament is the average runs per over that a team scores across the whole tournament, minus the average runs per over that is scored against them across the whole tournament. A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. The 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five was an international cricket tournament that took place in Benoni, South Africa during September 2017. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determines the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Jersey and the Netherlands were interested in hosting the tournament, but the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded it to South Africa, due to the ease of securing visas for the teams involved.
