Steven H. Temares
Steven Howard Temares (born 1958) is an American businessperson who was the chief executive officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, a national chain of domestic merchandise retail stores in both the United States and Canada. Early life and education Temares was born in 1958 in The Bronx, New York City, and grew up in Paramus, New Jersey. He was in the Paramus High School class of 1976. He earned a B.A. degree from Rutgers University in 1980 and attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was awarded a J.D. in 1983. Career Temares had been a real estate lawyer before being hired by Bed Bath & Beyond in 1992. He served as a Director of Real Estate and General Counsel at Bed Bath & Beyond and had been the Chief Operating Officer since 1997, serving in that role until 2003 when he was named as the firm's Chief Executive Officer. Warren Township is a township in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. The township is a bedroom suburb of New York City in the much larger New York metropolitan area, located within the Raritan Valley region. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 15,923, an increase of 612 (+4.0%) from the 2010 census count of 15,311, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,052 (+7.4%) from the 14,259 counted in the 2000 census.
