Steve White (comics)
Steve White is a British comic book writer, paleoartist, and occasional colourist who has mainly worked with '' 2000 AD''. Career White's career in comics began in the 1980s at Marvel UK in London, where he worked in various roles on titles like '' The Real Ghostbusters'', ''Transformers'', ''Dragon's Claws'', ''Knights of Pendragon'' and '' The Sleaze Brothers''. He has co-authored work with Dan Abnett, of '' Majestic'' fame. He is currently a senior editor for Titan Magazines comics, overseeing popular licenses such as ''Wallace & Gromit'', ''Shaun the Sheep'', ''The Simpsons Comics'', ''Transformers'' and Star Wars. He was previously a graphic novels editor for Titan Books. White is also a talented illustrator, specialising in drawing dinosaurs. Paleoartist
Paleoart (also spelled palaeoart, paleo-art, or paleo art) is any original artistic work that attempts to depict prehistoric life according to scientific evidence. Works of paleoart may be representations of fossil remains or imagined depictions of the living creatures and their ecosystems. While paleoart is typically defined as being scientifically informed, it is often the basis of depictions of prehistoric animals in popular culture, which in turn influences public perception of and fuels interest in these animals. Rogue Trooper
''Rogue Trooper'' is a science fiction strip in the British comic '' 2000 AD'', created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons in 1981. It portrays the adventures of a " Genetic Infantryman" named Rogue and three uploaded minds mounted on his equipment who search for the Traitor General. The series was rebooted in 1989 in the story "The War Machine", featuring a new version of the character called Friday. This version of the character last appeared in 1996. The original character returned in 1999 and all stories since then have featured the original Rogue. The character has also featured in a number of ''2000 AD'' crossovers. Publication history Gibbons left the strip early on to be replaced by a succession of artists and writers who have taken the strip in several different directions over the years. The Simpsons Comics
The following is a list of comic book series published by Bongo Comics based on the American animated television series ''The Simpsons''. The first comic strips based on ''The Simpsons'' appeared in 1991 in the magazine '' Simpsons Illustrated'' (not to be confused with the comic publications from 2012 bearing the same name), which was a companion magazine to the show. The comic strips were popular and a one-shot comic book entitled '' Simpsons Comics and Stories'', containing three different stories, was released in 1993 for the fans. The book was a success and due to this, the creator of ''The Simpsons'', Matt Groening, and his companions Bill Morrison, Steve Vance and Cindy Vance created the publishing company Bongo Comics. Doug Braithwaite
Doug Braithwaite is a British comic book artist. Career Braithwaite started out working on British comics, like '' 2000 AD'' and '' A1'', but is best known for his Marvel Comics work on the ''Earth X'' sequels, ''Universe X'' and ''Paradise X'' (with Alex Ross and Jim Krueger), as well as for ''The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe'' and '' Punisher: MAX'' #13–18, with Garth Ennis. Chris Weston (born 1969) is a British comics artist who has worked both in the US and UK comics industries. Biography Weston was born in January 1969 in Rinteln, Germany, and lived in various countries as a child. His career began when he was apprenticed for a year to work with Don Lawrence, by the end of which he had secured paid work on the major British strip ''Judge Dredd''. He worked with writer John Smith on the ten-part ''Indigo Prime'' story, "Killing Time" in which characters battled Jack the Ripper aboard a time travelling train.
